tashi palkhiel (children sutra recitals)

from nepalese soundscapes (1998) by michael northam

about

recording of an evening recital of children practicing sutra's at a monastery. the situation was very magical and i could have stayed there for hours, as they went on the sync became more and more strong between the voices of the kids. but my mastering attempt from 11 years ago seems to have added a nasty phasing. so now it has become something other than the original experience - but nonetheless, a very interesting document!
